街頭招到小黃,探身入後座,看到長條楬色布壂,綴飾著美麗的圖案,中間嵌上三組透氣的白色珠粒網格。
「你好,我要到xx,」車子前行,我補一句:「這布壂很好看。」
「其實,我是預防乘客拖行李箱下車會不小心刮傷皮壂,才舖上它。」後視鏡內他的國字臉有莊稼人的樸實,「如果他們不小心刮傷皮壂,我不好意思跟人家說這說那的。」
我佩服他替自己及乘客設想得如此周到,視線掃過車頂防熱布及前座椅背上的皮紋。
「你這車子看起來挺新的。」
「猜猜看這車的車齡?」
「3年多...」我看著略帶老舊的椅皮,不太肯定地猜測。
「13年,我開了11年。」他的語氣充滿得意。
「喔,很不簡單,這座壂是真皮?」
「是真皮,前手車的配備。」
「你如何保養?」
「每天擦一次,我靠它生活。」
我曾看過朋友養壼,慣用該壼加上用後擦拭,多年後的壼溫潤悅目,令人不忍釋手。這位司機像養壼般保養車,方法簡單,卻是大道理。
